Installation and work with program complex ASONIKA-K in the local net

Installation of program complex (PC) ASONIKA-K in the local net is done in three steps:

1. Preparatory step. Working stations (WS) where client applications of PC will be installed are defined.

2. PC installation in the local net. Installation of the server part of PC on the network server, installment of client parts of PC on WS, installation and connection of users, PC adjustments to meet individual users' requirements (interface change, additional electroradiodevices etc.).

3. PC technical service. Additional electroradiodevices and full PC database update, additional users, additional functions or user interface change. Technical service team will help to solve all the problems using diagnostics files.

Continuous PC support is possible due to its net configuration. More over, if full PC package is installed, access time to the basic data is significantly reduced (compared to Internet-version of PC). Possible installation schemes:

Archive serves to union calculation results of the components into one project. Archive allows to use the results of previous calculations, modify basic data for new conditions and working modes etc. More over the analysis of the archive contents allows the head of reliability department to control calculation process and quantitative values of parameters.

Operating service of ASKSoft continuously controls the work of each user. In case of problems they are always ready to help users via "hot line" and diagnistics files. The update of database with reliability characteristics of electroradiodevices of different types is made as follows: each two years after the release of a new edition of a reference-book "Reliability of Electroradiodevices" as well as each time when addition of new types of electroradiodevices is needed, the developers of PC create exe-module and send Patchset via e-mail to the client.

For example, one of Russian PC producers - CIBOSS company (supplier of Software for MTS) uses the same technology. In ASKSoft the whole teams works under the creation of such PATCHSETs. Each action changing software of PC is registered and transferred to the operational service specialists, that work directly with users of PC.

The usage of PC helps to reduce significantly time of development of new devices and modification of already created ones as user can address to the project archive, use connection interfaces to mathematical modeling of phisical processes, that take place in radioelectrodevices etc. Module of results analysis allows not only to make calculations, but make well-founded decisions, which parameters and how should be changed to achieve the required level of reliability. All necessary information can be received from any WS due to the easiness of data exchange. Grafical postprocessor of PC shows the calculation results of work failure intensity in form of 2D and 3D grafics (the function from outside parameters, load factors etc.) The reports generator of PC makes hypertext document of HTML format, containing not only calculation results, but also their grafical view. More over, a file is automatically generated that is necessary for automatic release of working modes schemes (WMS).
